The mission of the Elizabethport Presbyterian Center (the Pres) is to be a witness to the caring concern of Christ by providing social services, childcare, youth programs, educational support, and ethical and spiritual guidance to meet the needs of the Elizabethport and Plainfield communities. The Elizabethport Presbyterian Center, in E’Port, is known as the “Pres,” which means “Presbytery.” |

We will bring all sectors of our society together to provide the short-term responses and the long-term solutions. The Community FoodBank of NJ has been the recipient of all of the Roadhouse Charity fundraising for the entire 2010 show season. |

YWCA’s mission: eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world. The YWCA Eastern Union County opened its doors in 1920 and has been serving the women, children and families of Union County ever since, with a long history of promoting the rights and health of women and their families at home, in the workplace, and in the community, and advocating on behalf of social and racial justice. In 1978, in response to the growing concern about domestic violence in Union County, the YWCA EUC established Project Protect to provide emergency shelter for battered women and their children. Today, we are recognized as the lead domestic violence agency in Union County, with a full range of services provided.
